For Scholarship
Applicants are advised to thoroughly check the Embassy Notice published on Embassy's website at the time of opening the scholarship scheme to check the eligibility criteria, instructions, documents required, list of courses and Institutes available etc. Applications of those applicants who are either not meeting the eligibility criteria or submitting incomplete/incorrect applications (not supported by the requisite documents) will be rejected.
A.Instructions for submission of offline Application forms:
i) Download the application form from the link given in the Embassy Notice uploaded in what's new tab of Education Wing at the Indian Embassy website www.indembkathmandu.gov.in
ii) The form must be duly filled in or preferably typed in the font and format that is easily legible. Name should be written in Capital letters only.
iii) The details of documents required to be submitted with application form and mode of submission will be mentioned in Embassy Notice. In general, following documents in three (3) sets are required to be submitted to the Embassy either through post/courier or personally:
(a) Duly filled in application form
(b) Latest passport size photograph (duly pasted).
(c) Copy of relevant pages of passport (wherever applicable).
(d) Duly notarized final mark-sheet / transcript of Class X (for courses up to 10+2 and diploma) Class X and XII for Undergraduate courses, Class XII and Graduation for Postgraduate courses and class XII, Graduation and Post-graduation for research (PhD) courses and a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi that the candidate's qualifying examination is equivalent to 10/10+2 standard of CBSE in India (as applicable)
(e) Citizenship certificate duly translated in English language and certified by Notary Public.
(f) Birth Certificate and its translation in English.
(g) Character Certificate either in English or duly translated in English language and certified by Notary Public;
(h) Original Bank Voucher of NRs. 400/- (wherever required)
(The application fee of NRs. 400/- should be deposited in favor of Education Wing, EOI, Kathmandu Account No. 17725240200331 of Nepal SBI Bank, anywhere in Nepal not later than the last date of submission of application).<
B. Instructions for submission of Online forms
i. Applicants can submit application online through the link given in the latest Embassy Notice uploaded in what's new tab of Education Wing at the Indian Embassy website www.indembkathmandu.gov.in. No other means/mode of submission of application will be accepted under any circumstances.
ii. Candidates are advised to read instructions carefully before applying on- line and also all the instructions given on main instruction page by visiting website www.indembkathmandu.gov.in and should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in on-line application. Once the application is submitted (Step-I), no change /edit will be allowed thereafter.
iii. Applicants have to ensure that the data entered by them regarding name and identity, marks obtained, etc. are correct and accurate. Where the applications are required to be submitted in hard copies also, failure to do so could result in the summary rejection of the application at any stage.
iv. The details of documents required to be uploaded with application form will be mentioned in Embassy Notice. In general, following documents are required to be uploaded and submitted with the application form in three (3) sets to the Embassy either through post/courier or personally (except for Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Scheme and Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme):
a) Latest passport size photograph (duly pasted).
b) Copy of relevant pages of passport (wherever applicable).
c) Citizenship certificate duly translated in English language and certified by Notary Public.
d) Birth Certificate and its translation in English.
e) Character Certificate either in English or duly translated in English language and certified by Notary Public.
f) Original Bank Voucher of NRs. 400/- (wherever required)
