1. Procedure for Submission of Life Certificate

Every Central/State Government pensioner has to submit Annual Life Certificate (LC) once a year for further continuation of pension. Pensioner can renew LC through following ways:-

(a) By visiting their Pension Paying Office(PPO)/District Soldier Board (DSB) in their due month.
(b) Pensioners serving in DSC can post original copy of Life Certificate and Serving Certificate signed by Officer-in-charge, DSC platoon to this office. Life Certificates received through the official email address of DSC platoon are accepted by PPOs.
(c) For pensioners residing abroad, Original copy of LC signed by Indian Mission Abroad in due month is acceptable. Life Certificates received through the official email address of Indian Mission are acceptable by PPOs.
(d) For pensioner residing in India, pensioner can post original copy of LC signed by authority given as per para 69 of DPPI 2013.

2. Documents Required for PDA Transfer

(Nepal to India)

1. Annexure 'A' – 5 copies.
2. Handwritten Application (Stating Address while Enroll & Current Address).
3. Bank Acknowledgement & Pass Book of New Bank.
4. NEFT Mandate Form from New Bank.
5. NOC from Current Bank (NSBL/Everest).
6. Annexure 'D' – 2 copies.
7. Discharge Book Copy.
8. PPO and D-Roll (If held with you).
9. Copy of Citizenship.
(Nepal to India)
1. Copy of submitted Annexure 'A'.
2. Bank Acknowledgement & Pass Book of New Bank.
3. Discharge Book Copy.
4. PPO and D-Roll (If held with you).
5. Joint and Pension Bank A/c of New Bank (NSBL/Everest).
6. Complete Address, Contact No and Email Address of pensioner.
7. Copy of Citizenship.

3. Documents Required for Payment of Life Time Arrears

(a) Death Certificate of the deceased pensioner.
(b) Citizenship certificate of deceased pensioner and claimant.
(c) Relationship certificate with deceased from Rural Municipality/Municipality.
(d) Recommendation from CDO for payment of Arrears along with complete family details.
(e) LTA Payment Slip.
(f) Consent from other eligible family member.
(g) NSBL/Everest Bank Account No in r/o claimant as per name in NPP.
(h) Two Witness drawing pension from MPB Kathmandu
Note: -(Other documents may be asked as per requirement basis)

4. Documents Required for Commencement of New Service Pension

(a) Citizenship Certificate service pensioner &spouse.
(b) Recommendation from CDO regarding variations in name/age if any.
(c) Acknowledgment of Joint Pension Bank Accountas per name in PPO.
(d) 02 x PP Size Joint Photographs & 01 x single PP Size photograph of spouse.
(e) Discharge book Copy.
(f) Individual's copy of Pension Payment Order (PPO).

5. Documents Required for Commencement of Family Pension

(a) Citizenship Certificate of family pensioner.
(b) Recommendation from CDO regarding variations in name/age if any.
(c) Acknowledgment of Pension Bank Account as per name in PPO.
(d) 02 x PP Size photograph of family pensioner.
(e) Individual's copy of Pension Payment Order.

6. Seasonal Pension Camps:

Every pensioner has to visit their respective camps at their due month for submission of Life Certificate. This office is conducting seasonal pension camps at different locations having large concentration of BhuPuus. Intimation regarding conduct of camps can be obtained from respective DSB.
