Foundation stone laying ceremony of High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) in Bajhang, Sudurpaschim Province, Nepal

    Foundation stone for the construction of Shree Satyavadi Secondary School Admin & Hostel Buildings, Bhopur, Jayaprithivi Municipality, Bajhang  was jointly laid today by Mr. Narayan Singh, First Secretary, Embassy of India in Kathmandu, and Mr. Chet Raj Bajal, Mayor, Jayaprithivi Municipality, Bajhang.

2.    Shree Satyavadi Secondary School, Admin & Hostel Buildings are being built with Government of India’s financial assistance of around NRs.139 million. 

3.    The new facilities will include a three storeyed  Administrative Block, Girls and Boys Hostel with toilets and other allied structures. The project has been taken up as a High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP), and will be implemented through the Jayaprithivi Municipality, Bajhang.  

4. Mayor, Jayaprithivi Municipality, School Management and other stakeholders appreciated the developmental support being provided by the Government of India. 

5.  As close neighbours and development partners, India and Nepal  have wide-ranging and multi-sectoral cooperation. The implementation of HICDPs reflects the continued support of the Government of India in reinforcing the efforts of the Government of Nepal in achieving growth and development.
