Eligibility, How to apply & Documents Required
Eligibility: Applicants :
- should be 25 years or less of age as on 1st July of current year
- should have minimum 60% aggregate marks in class 12th with minimum 50% marks in English.
- must have passed +2 level (class XII) examinations. Appearing candidates are not eligible to apply as final marksheet of +2 level (class XII) is required to be submitted with application form.
Application form may be downloaded from the website of Embassy of India (www.indembkathmandu.gov.in). The form must be duly filled in or typed. Form with incomplete/incorrect information or not supported by the requisite documents will be rejected.
Documents Required:The candidates should submit the following documents with the application form in three (3) sets :
- Latest passport size photographs (duly pasted).
- Duly notarized Final mark-sheet/transcript of Class XII and Graduation.
- Citizenship certificate duly translated in English language and certified by Notary Public.
- copy of passport certified by notary public
- Original Bank Voucher of NRs. 400/-.
(The application fee of NRs. 400/- should be deposited in favor of Education Wing, EOI, Kathmandu Account No. 17725240200331 of Nepal SBI Bank, anywhere in Nepal not later than last date of submission of application form. Application fee once deposited will not be refunded or adjusted).
How to submit application:The candidates may submit their applications (complete in all respect) through post / courier or personally at the Embassy of India, Kathmandu on or before last date of submission of application form.
Please Note
- Due care should be taken while exercising choice of Institutes. Candidates are advised to provide at least four choices of the Institutes in the application form selected from the list of Institutes provided with the Notification at the time of opening of the scheme. Embassy reserves the right to change the institute of a student depending upon the placement received from the authorities concerned.
- The Embassy of India entertains applications directly from the applicant himself/herself only. The Embassy does not recognize or receive applications through any so called Education Consultants/Middlemen/Agencies in Nepal. Students are advised to beware of such unscrupulous persons/agencies. Applications found to have been received through such agencies/persons are liable to be rejected.
