e-Visa - Travelling on passport different from that mentioned on ETA

Foreigners having e-Visa travelling on a passport different from the passport mentioned on Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) issued to them may be allowed entry into India on the new passport even if ETA has been issued on the old passport, provided foreign nationals carry both the old and new passports during their travel to India.
